The Rain Forest Café

Today my mom and I went to Downtown Disney to The Rainforestcafé. It was early in the morning
This is the entrance to the dining area
so it want very crowded. The first thing you see when you walk in is that you are in the rainforest under the trees. There are snakes in the tree and there are huge butterflies on them. But the biggest thing that will most likely catch your eye would be the salt water fish tanks with its huge variety of fish. There are two that I saw. One that greets you that surrounds you and one that in in a wall (I personally love the fish tanks) There is a good chance that you would be caught in a thunderstorm. (The lights will go on and off like lightning and there is “thunder”) There is a bar that you sit on animal leg.

Ok let’s get down to business. The Ambiance is very laid back and fun. You do not feel rushed. And to top it off you get the sounds of the rainforest. You get the feeling that you can relax and take a break from either a day at Disneyland or a quick break from Down Town Disney .

Now, for the service.  The Servers are very friendly. The manager came to each and every table that I saw and asked if there was anything we needed. You get your food relatively fast (ours came out in like 10-15 Minutes) And they were very good at filling up our drinks.

Here is the best part, the food. The food we had was very good I had the Cha Cha’s wild waffles (they say waffles but it is really waffle)  It was very good and so filling. They had a flavor that  tingled your taste buds.  It came with 2 strips of bacon or 2 sausage links (I got the bacon) and strawberries and bananas (but I asked for all bananas because I do not like strawberries) but having all of them together was just the best. And my mom had the Cisco and Pancho which comes with a steak and some eggs and some breakfast potatoes ( I can not give you much input on this because I tried it one time and it wasn’t for me.)

What we had and what the restaurant looked like:

Cha Cha's Wild Waffle - freshly made Belgian waffle served with fresh strawberries, bananas and maple syrup and a choice of bacon or sausage $9.99

Cisco and Pancho - A flat iron steak broiled to order. Served with scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes. $14.99

This is one of the fish tanks.

Extra add on!! (Get them to validate your parking ticket from Downtown Disney for an extra 2 hours for free)
