On 7-25-13 My mom, Grandma and I went to this restaurant
called the Waterfront Café. This restaurant has been around forever it seems. I
must say as many years as they have been open the food quality has not gone
down. This is a classic diner that has been overrun with little porcelain pigs.
Although it is a bit much they are rather cute in my book.
The service: The service here is good, Fast and very nice.
We were waited on by 2 servers. The man was very nice. The woman she was very
sweet and they both were very attentive. They never let our glasses empty.
The atmosphere: This
is a very classic dinner as of the way it is decorated. They have the (older
style colors) pink and teal colors. Everything is dated (*so I guess you can
say you are taking a trip back to the 80’s.
The food: The food here is scattered from American to
Italian. All very good and flavorful. I had the chicken alfredo and it had
chicken, broccoli, carrots and yummy noodles. Although I wish there was more
sauce. My mom had the Fried chicken and she said it was very good. (the only
thing about her food was the green beans looked and tasted like they were
frozen or canned.) And my grandma had the shrimp scampi she said that it was
good. She wouldn’t change anything.
