Liselle Vintage Caramels

Liselle Vintage Caramels “The Essence of Love Wrapped in Tradition

Today 11-9-12

My mom and I went to a craft fair called the Sugar Plum at the Orange County fairgrounds. Among all of the craft vendors is a spot called Liselle Vintage Caramels with a very nice lady (Her name is Melissa) handing out caramels. Talking about the flavors they have and it caught my eye (mostly because I love caramels) we ventured over to her where we tried the creamiest and most flavorful caramels I’ve ever tasted. She told me the very beautiful lady on the sticker is her great grandmother. Melissa (LISelle)was taught by her great grandfather Ellsworth (That’s where the elle from the lisELLE is from) she has been making caramels for 20 years.

Some of the flavors: (classic caramels)
Caramel Apple
Classic Vanilla
English Toffee
Pumpkin Pie
Sea Salt.

Amazon Brazilian Barbeque

Today October 2nd 2012 *My Birthday*
(I’m Running behind sorry)
Today My mom my grandma and I went to Amazon and well I must say it is a good amount  of food and well sad to say it is a bit expensive($15.95 per person). Ok (Warning) This is a meat place but there is a small salad bar. The salad bar has some things that I like but others I don’t really like but if you go you have to have their cheese balls( one of my favorite things from the salad bar). The meat is heavenly. So juicy, flavorful, and wow SO good. They have so many flavors of meats and they bring it around on spears. The people are very nice. They will talk to you. There are normally 2 or 3 servers but the funny part is that they never fall behind in serving and if they are not busy they will ask what type of meat you want (mine is sausage).  They are all very nice and very persistent. The way they decorated it with the imprints on the walls and all of the little statues everywhere. If you look in the planter near the entrance there are more little statues it kind of makes you feel like you are in the jungle (except the back ground ).  They have a water fall inside and to have that and low Brazilian music playing makes it all around good experience.

The type of food:
Top Sirloin
BBQ Chicken
Tri-Tip Roast
Rib Eye
Garlic Steak
Lamb
Quail
Pepper Steak
Skirt Steak
Brazilian Sausage
Beef Shish Kabob
Chicken heart
Pork Spare Ribs
Turkey wrapped in Bacon
BBQ Pineapple

 Their cheese bread

It was my birthday and they gave me this :D

Azteca Mexican Restaurant

Azteca Mexican Restaurant

Today 9-30-12
My mom and I went to Azteca’s Today and very sad to say was not very friendly. It almost seemed like we were in his way and he didn’t want us there. I think last time we went here our waiter was ok (not mean but not rude). The (what I’m guessing) manager was very nice. The First thing you get is some chips and salsa and well the salsa was a little salty but very good. (The salsa was good enough that I would eat it with very little to no heat.) The Carne Asada Burrito (my mom got) was very good looking. The Carne Asada Quesadilla (that I got) tasted amazing I was very happy with what I got. My mom had Ceviche it looked good (and well im a chicken I didn’t try it.)The Atmosphere, one word ELVIS!!!! This restaurant as a lot of Elvis memorabilia, the first thing you see when you walk through the front door is a life size Elvis. Today was a Baseball game and it was fun listening to everyone cheering for their favorite team.  The owner loves Elvis you can tell because all of the posters on the walls and even on the ceiling!  And he a comes to the Friday night cruise dressed like Elvis (which is so cool to see)

What we got:

 Carne Asada Burrito   (5.75)

Carne Asada Quesadilla  (  5.75   )

Ceviche (Shrimp and Crab Cocktail) 5.75

Chips and Salsa

Kaye’s Kitchen

Kaye's Kitchen

Today 9/14/2012

My grandma and I went to Kaye’s it is a cute 50’s Diner theme all the way down to the red and black seats and the black and white checkered floors. The things I love about the diner is how they have old time pictures on the wall and the original sign (which is extremely cool to me) from Tony’s. (It is mostly fun to go on Sunday because there is a farmers market and it is a great place to go for lunch). The food to me is quite good and very flavorful. And well I have a new favorite place to go for French fries and an amazing steak and wonderful hash browns. The Bacon cheese burger is amazing and then with the fires (a few words OH MY GAWD). The Shakes are good too( I didnt have one on this visit). The service is very good and if you get to know the waiters and waitress’ they are very friendly (even though they are friendly if you dont know them). They are very fast and they really get to know the customers. And even though we go on Friday night for the old car cruise and well they do get busy but I know I haven’t seen it when there are no seats In the house (there is always one open for you).

Kaye's Kitchen you have a repeat customer.

What we got:

I got the Steak and eggs (but I dont like the eggs from anywhere) 7.99

Bacon Cheese Burger (Grandma already started eating it and well it is squished but other than that it looked good) 6.99
